Description
Smartling is looking for a talented Community Engagement Manager to attract, educate and empower users of Smartling's solutions and services. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing and optimizing online engagement with site owners and translators using the Smartling platform.

VP, Marketing
Responsibilities
- Embody the Smartling brand and mission in the marketplace
- Create, implement and optimize community engagement programs for social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Google+
- Create, implement and optimize email marketing programs for site owner and translator education and community building
- Collaborate with Product Management, Client Services, Sales and and Support teams to optimize the Smartling offering and customer engagement process
- Team with your Marketing and design staff and consultants to improve brand awareness and engagement
- Build and sustain great customer relationships
- Delight customers
Requirements
- Experience and history of success (3+ years) marketing technology-based solutions and services, with an emphasis on Email Marketing and Social Media outreach.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of web technologies, such as browser-based languages, Content Management Systems, IP protocols and related delivery infrastructures
- Experience marketing to both IT and Business professionals
- Experience with the localization / translation industry a plus; proficiency in another language is beneficial
